About LINK

The LINK application is a web-based application that is designed to support organizational self-assessments of candidate local non-U.S. organization partners that have an interest in U.S. Government programs and initiatives.

This tool automates the pre-award survey response submission, which allows USAID Missions to get to know local partners. While completing this survey does not guarantee an award of USAID funds, local partners will receive a customized report that will highlight capacity development areas to help focus efforts for continued organizational maturity. After completion, USAID encourages local partners to return to this site and provide updates on organizational capacity, which will help continue the conversation between local partners and USAID.

To start using this application, please submit a registration request via the “Register” page. Once your registration request is processed, you will receive an email notification.

Once logged into the system, you may request and fill out surveys to self-assess your organizational capacity. Surveys do not need to be completed all at once, you may take your time in updating and responding to the surveys in the system. Upon completion of each survey section, a system-generated report will be produced with scores based on USAID survey frameworks. Once a survey is completed, it cannot be updated unless a revisions request is submitted to USAID.

USAID extends help from the American people to achieve results for the poorest and most vulnerable around the world. That assistance represents an American value; as beneficiaries of peace and prosperity, Americans have a responsibility to assist those less fortunate so we see the day when our assistance is no longer necessary.

USAID invests in ideas that work to improve the lives of millions of men, women and children by:

  • Investing in agricultural productivity so countries can feed their people
  • Combating maternal and child mortality and deadly diseases like HIV, malaria and tuberculosis
  • Providing life-saving assistance in the wake of disaster
  • Promoting democracy, human rights and good governance around the world
  • Fostering private sector development and sustainable economic growth
  • Helping communities adapt to a changing environment
  • Elevating the role of women and girls throughout all our work
